In this age of movie gluttony, Christians must practice discernment. "Discernment," though, is not a matter of restricting oneself to films made solely by or about Christians. We don't need lists telling us what not to watch either, but rather, tools for making that decision ourselves. Two experts in film offer just that. Using a wide range of cinematic examples, they provide practical help in understanding and evaluating movies from a distinctly Christian worldview. In learning how to unpack the images and better understand the films we see, we may even gain the opportunity to use secular films to share the Gospel.
